This walk is graded as moderate and not easy because there are short steep sections. One of the most dramatic endemic flowers the island is famous for are the giant Tajinastes in bloom between May and June.
These spectacular flowers are 2m high with a conical spike and impressive red/maroon flowers. There is also a rarer blue and white variety.
These flowers grow in profusion in the National Park but only at 2,000m + altitude.

This is a walk on the trail of our pretty and endemic springtime flowers and of course, very popular with the ladies.
There is no set route with this walk as Andy decides on the day depending on where he has recently seen the best flowers but you are guaranteed forest trails, open countryside and possibly volcanic landscapes and it goes without saying, beautiful views and vistas.
