This is a fantastic spectacular walk and on a clear day offers outstanding panoramic views. Our walk starts on a lovely track through lush pine forest followed by a stiff climb of over 500m up a steep sided ridge which broadens out at the top.
We then gently amble along on another forest track to a fabulous viewing point with stunning vistas of the Anaga peninsula, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the south coast, the Güímar valley, the observatories of Izaña, and Mount Teide.
Then, our route gently descends under impressive cliffs with many endemic plants along the way back to the track that we crossed earlier in the day. From there a steady gentle walk along lovely forest paths take us back to our starting point.
