This is another new “must do” walk exploring the rugged geological landscape of Tenerife.
It is an adventurous hike in that generally speaking the rugged terrain makes our progress slow in places but not dangerous, however, sure footedness is required.
Simply put – for a good walker this is a must as views abound over to the island of La Gomera and inland to Mount Teide. One of the key features of this walk as the name suggests, is a volcanic dome formed five and a half million years ago during the Tertiary period.
